G1 Hinged Ladder-style Fall Protection

G1 Hinged Ladder-style Fall Protection

A lift self locking fall protection grid system which when opened can be used as a hand hold for access ladders below. The grid is fitted opposite to the cover hinges as standard (see illustration). However, it can be positioned on any side. Tested to 250 kg SWL over the total area of the grid.

G1 (RHS) Grid hinged on right hand side.
G1 (LHS) Grid hinged on left hand side.
G1 (AC) Grid hinged as cover hinges.

Handing is when viewed from opposite cover hinges. Grid can be fitted to all upstand and flush covers.

G1W Split Hinged Pump-through Fall Protection

G1W Split Hinged Pump-through Fall Protection

This unique Technocover registered design has been developed specifically to enable safe removal of submersible pumps without the need for restrictive vertical barrier systems. Tested to 250 kg SWL over the total area of the grid.

One set of grids is required for each pump, therefore, please specify as follows:

1 pump – G1W×1
2 pumps – G1W×2
3 pumps – G1W×3, etc.

This Technocover registered design enables safe withdrawal of submersible pumps without the need for restrictive barriers. The system is designed with 'letter box' and side slots to facilitate PCLA lifting. G1Q can be fitted on upstand or flush fit covers. Tested to 250 kg SWL over the total area of the grid.

G4 Hinged Walk On Safety Grid

Hinged open mesh fall protection system. Reduces lift weight of grid and provides safer access as grid cannot be dropped into the chamber accidentally. Tested to 250 kg SWL over the total area of the grid.

G4W Split Hinged Pump-through Walk On Safety Grid

G4W Split Hinged Pump-through Walk On Safety Grid

Developed to enable safe removal of submersible pumps without the need for restrictive vertical barriers. Grid has open mesh construction, operation is as per G1W grids but allows operatives to stand on grid if required. Tested to 250 kg SWL over the total area of the grid.

L9 Fall Protection – Padlock Closed or Open (to be specified)

All grids can have this facility. It is often used for confined space ventilation where padlock is moved from cover to grid as safety feature.
